NEW CAUSE! W.O.D. and Endurance Tuesday 5/1/18

New cause!

For the month of May, we are so excited to partner with Guiding Eyes for the Blind!

Through our partnership with Guiding Eyes, we’ll be helping the blind by caring for their trusted guide dogs. Every 3 check-ins provides a bowl of food for a guide dog in training! The hashtag this month is #guidingeyes.

Guiding Eyes for the Blind trains guide dogs and partners them with people who are blind or visually impaired. Once a dog is trained, Guiding Eyes pairs their exceptionally trained dogs to people who are seeking increased freedom and independence, so that together, they can experience all kinds of life adventures.

Conditioning AND Endurance WOD – 30 minutes

*There will be no separation of endurance today.  Everyone will do the same workout!

*Coaches – line up the rowers at the front of the gym, tight against the rig, facing the class… then grab the bikes and line the right side of the gym in the main area in front and between the barbells looking at the class, staying out of the “Learn To’ Crossfit area…  then line the boxes up on the opposite side, tight against the rig where the windows are…

*Start athletes in 4-5 smaller groups to accommodate all equipment needed (ex – Group 1 – Deads, 2 – first Cal Row, 3 – KB Swings, 4 – first Cal Bike, 5 – Box Jumps). RX Athletes must start with the deadlifts!

*IF the bikes and rowers are all taken at a given time, you have the option of waiting for a moment until available OR sub this movement with either a 200m Run OR 20 Burpees OR 20 KB Sumo Deadlift High pulls 70/55.
