We want to honor a local hero’s life, Deputy Aaron Roberts, with not just a day filled of thankfulness, but what we call a “Hero” workout, to honor his life, his daily sacrifice, and his family.
Today the 17th, every class hour at CrossFit Republic, all day, will be honoring Aaron. Supplement Superstores and Eat Fit Go Springfield, MO will be in attendance at CFR, supporting this cause as well. If you do not know exact class times and you want to attend, please click the link here for class schedule.
If you can, please donate to the family at the link below, set up by the Greene County Sheriff’s office or bring personal cash donations to CFR as we will get it to the right place.
On September 7, 2018, Deputy Aaron Paul Roberts cleared a 911 call in the 9500 block of Farm Road 2. He was returning to service and moments later radioed that his car was washed off of the road.
Several agencies assisted in rescue efforts. A short time later, Deputy Roberts was found near his patrol car deceased.
We ask that you please keep Deputy Roberts’ family in your prayers during this difficult time.
